Returns

Independent Eningeering Supplies will honour all obligations under all New Zealand acts. Please review our Terms of Trade for further information.

Refund
Please note that we will not offer a refund if you have changed your mind. Ensure that you choose your products carefully and make sure that they are compatible with your requirements. Please be aware that refunds take a minimum of 3 days and can take up to 5 working days to process.

Exchange
If you wish to exchange an item please contact us for a returns authorisation. Note: All goods must be in original and/or in saleable condition for acceptance. Goods are returned at the purchasers’ expense and the exchange item will be forwarded to you at the expense of Independent Engineering Supplies once acceptance of the received goods has been granted.

Warranty
Warranty claims covering any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process will be handled by Independent Engineering Supplies and/or its suppliers. Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident, or wear and tear are not covered by our warranty policy. If the product is still under warranty then the repair will be at our expense including the freight to return the repaired or replacement product. If the product is out of warranty, then we can still have the product repaired, however, the cost of the repair will be charged to the customer.

If you wish to send an item covered under warranty to us please contact us for a warranty authorisation ensuring you have a copy of your original receipt sent with the goods. Goods are returned at the purchasers’ expense and the repaired/replaced item will be forwarded to you at the expense of Independent Engineering Supplies once acceptance of the warranty has been granted.

Note: Power tool warranties can take time. Tools need to be sent to a repairer for assessment before warranty can be claimed. We then need to deal with the supplier to coordinate repair or replacement. We will endeavor to keep you informed as events occur.

Independent Engineering Supplies (IES) is based in Timaru, South Canterbury and provides top quality products and unrivalled service. We are owned by Clayton and Rachael Holland with business partner Alan Roker and have been providing our wares to the market since 2011.

IES are a quality and service focussed business, giving more every day to ensure only the best for our clients.

With our team of 7 – whom Clayton handpicked for their varying knowledge and expertise - IES can provide you with anything you need for your business or farm.

We have a huge range of products on hand for your engineering, trade or farm business with tried and trusted names such as Teng Tools, Lincoln Electric, Milwaukee Power Tools and Tradequip Workshop Equipment to name a few.

Many of the unique brands will not be found anywhere else in the South Canterbury Region and if we don’t have it in stock, we will find it for you!

We have quality products and a huge range : Welding Supplies, Power Tools, Gas and Diesel Heating, Generators, Buy or Swap Gas Cylinders, Chain Bar Oil to name but a few! Right down to your last Nut and Bolt, we will have it!

Clayton Holland	Darryl Caithness	Joe Valdes
20 years experience in engineering sales both in NZ and Australia, Clayton spent over ten years selling bearings and power transmission and enjoys solving customers technical problems, happily married to Rachael with two girls Codie and Kaia, interests motor sport, Holden’s and family time.	Darryl’s background has been based around farm machinery and Farming in general. His varied life experiences have seen him take to the engineering supplies field like a duck to water the past five years has been spent involved in the industry. Loves both types of music “Country and Western” our resident Red Neck who takes his job seriously and hates to let customers down.	Our resident mechanic who loves his tools, Joe background is automotive based with a passion for all things mechanical. With a quick wit and a joke always at the ready there is never a dull moment when Joe is around.

The youngest member of the Team but is no stranger to the Engineering Industry with almost five years experience under his belt. A keen hunter and shooter Ian is one of New Zealand most promising shooters with several NZ titles to his name	Coming off the Tools back in the eighties to start and run several Engineering Supplies companies in South Canterbury Alan is a well know identity in Timaru not only in the field of engineering but in general with his trade mark moustache and glasses Alan is one of Timaru characters. With over forty years of experience Alan has forgot more than most in his field will ever learn!	Wife to Clayton, Rachael is the friendly voice at the end of the phone with any administration queries, manages all account receivables and payables. Mum to Codie and Kaia, loves the Warriors and all things Rugby League.
